During this tour focusing on nature and its products, you will have the opportunity to discover the secrets of truffle hunting in an exclusive setting.
With an experienced truffle hunter and his dogs, you will discover the magic and beauty of Calabria and the province of Cosenza. In the background you will see the Pollino National Park and you will have a walk through its forests. The fauna and flora of this national park is varied and invaluable: from squirrels to wolfs, from deer to peregrines, from streams to huge prairies – there is a lot to see.
After the truffle search you return to the truffle hunter’s house, a penthouse with a breathtaking view of the new and the old city.
He will teach you how to use, process and preserve truffles.
Together you will prepare pasta with truffles and truffle sauce and enjoy one of the best wines of the region.
