During this tour, we will walk through ancient paths, breathing the rarefied air that brings with it the scent of history and legend. It will be a complete sensory experience: feeling the wind brushing against your skin, listening to the hiss of volcanic rocks under your feet, and savoring the authentic flavors of Sicilian cuisine for breakfast.

During this photographic tour, Danilo will guide you along some of the most wonderful routes, including:

Acitrezza, a place that needs no introduction. It’s a unique place that, under the right lighting conditions, is always soul-stirring!
Schiena dell’Asino, a magical place. You start at about 1800m altitude to reach a ridge at about 2100m, from where you have a beautiful view of the Southeast crater.
A “natural balcony” over the very dark Valley of Bove. With good visibility, you can see the bay of Giardini Naxos (and thus Taormina), but also Calabria and Catania.
And many other fascinating places worth capturing.

This tour is aimed at landscape photography enthusiasts, so it is desirable that participants have at least one camera that allows manual adjustment of shooting parameters, as well as a tripod. However, owning suitable equipment is not mandatory.

IMPORTANT: The tour varies depending on the season, weather conditions, and the interests of the participants. For the best photographic conditions, we recommend meeting a few hours before sunrise, before sunset, or at night (perhaps during the Perseid period).

The possibilities are diverse, including more challenging hikes, both due to choosing less touristy and more challenging routes (to reach better points for certain types of shots), and due to the weight of the photographic equipment carried.
