ANYWAYS.EXPERIENCE: WORKSHOP PASTA AND BREAD IN LUNAMATRONA, SARDINIA
This experience is dedicated to the sense of taste and the traditions of this region – especially concerning homemade pasta and bread.
Women in Sardinia showed their manual skills by preparing extraordinary shapes of pasta and bread.
It is an art that has been passed on from generation to generation.
Gabriela – expert in Sardinian culinary traditions – accompanies you during this workshop.
She explains and shows you the processing of wheat and its derivatives and their use in the local cuisine in Sardinia.
Decide with us what your experience should include:
workshop PASTA homemade – with shapes typical of this region in Sardinia
The pasta is served with local vegetables from the garden or with meat sauce, according to Sardinian tradition.
workshop BREAD – baked in a wood oven
The wood oven is made of clay bricks, the so-called ladin, made of straw and mud. A tradition in Sardinia.
Bread was once made here. Un pane povero (poor bread). But what a taste!
The bread is seasoned with tomatoes, basil and oil.
The tasting of the prepared dishes ends both workshops.
You can take part in one or both workshops (accommodation on request).
Discover Sardinia from its oldest traditions that make up the culture of a place.
