During the summer in the Umbrian countryside, you will be amazed by the fields full of blooming sunflowers. While participating in this workshop, you will have the opportunity to bring home a sunflower as well as a plaster work, as a reminder of this occasion.
In front of the Fontana dei Matti in the historical centre of Gubbio, you will have the opportunity to don an apron, pick up some brushes and colours and realize your own piece of art to make it a long-lasting memory of an original experience.
This workshop is dedicated to the sense of touch and to the fascinating world of artistic plaster creations.
Entering the world of craftsmanship, which includes precious finishes, pictorial decorations, antique patinas and beeswax, an expert artisan will guide you step by step into this universe. She will make you passionate about her art by showing you great attention to detail, knowledgeable use of colours and the brightness of highlights.
The workshop “Realize your sunflower” is a workshop dedicated to all those who wish to learn the basic techniques for producing and decorating plaster products and taking home a “piece” of Umbria.
The course will be accompanied by a small tasting of typical local products, enhancing the experience through the taste of new flavours and the smell and background noise of an artisan workshop. The highlight of the day: your little plaster masterpiece.
