Description
Tuscany on the table. Simple food made from a few ingredients that are rich in flavour.
The characterizing element of this experience is conviviality, the most important symbol of Tuscan and Italian cuisine! It is not only about what you eat, but how you do it, i.e. in good company.
In this experience, food expresses its deepest cultural meaning: the sense of sharing and friendship. This is not just a cooking class: get together, prepare typical dishes and enjoy the flavours of home-made cooking.
In a setting surrounded by greenery, you will fully experience the Tuscan rural civilization and the tradition of “bread and companatico”. Nobody eats alone and nothing is thrown away. Hence, there are many recipes including the “leftovers” of the day before.
No waste but no compromise either! What is most important is bread: the Tuscan one, “sciocco (silly-fade)”, is without salt and together we will find out why. There are also loads of vegetables, cold cuts, cheese, soups and meat. Each season is linked to a dish.
We are looking forward to having you here preparing and enjoying some typical dishes of the Tuscan tradition, always taking into account the seasonality of the products, with a good drizzle of oil on top – enjoying it together.
